Terms of use
The rules for using Saleem's website, video appointments and medical travel service.
Who these terms are between
These terms are between you and Saleem Telemedicine W.L.L., commercial registration 141800-1, Shop 2124, Building 2004, Road 1527, Block 115, Hidd, Bahrain. By using our website or services you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.
Our privacy policy, cookie page and search fee terms are part of these terms.
What Saleem does
Saleem offers two services:
- Scheduled video appointments with doctors. Saleem is an NHRA-licensed telemedicine platform.
- Medical travel coordination: we help you collect reports, request itemised quotes from partner hospitals and plan travel, stay, an interpreter and follow-up.
Saleem coordinates care. Clinical decisions are made by licensed physicians. Treatment abroad is provided by the partner hospital and its doctors, not by Saleem. The NHRA licence covers telemedicine, not treatment abroad.
Saleem is not an emergency service. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
Saleem AI
Saleem AI helps you start a request or find a doctor. It does not give medical advice. Our doctors do.
Your account and what you tell us
You agree to give accurate information. If you make a request for a family member, you confirm that you have their permission to share their health information with Saleem for that request, or that you are their parent or legal guardian. You keep your sign-in details private.
Our services are for adults. A request for a child, or for an adult who cannot decide for themselves, is made by a parent or legal guardian, who confirms that they have the authority to do so and may be asked for evidence of it. The hospital's own rules on consent to treatment also apply.
Video appointments
You see each doctor's fee before you book, and you pay online to confirm your slot. Video appointments are not suitable for emergencies.
To change or cancel, message us on WhatsApp before your appointment. If the doctor does not join, your fee is refunded.
Medical travel and the search fee
After your intro call, you pay a BD 20 search fee. It is credited to your treatment cost if you go ahead. The search fee terms set out the rules, including refunds.
Your case manager proposes hospitals, and you approve them before anything is sent. Hospitals send itemised quotes in Bahraini dinars, and a Saleem doctor reviews each quote before it reaches you. Each quote is valid for 2 weeks. Your itemised quote is final, and it says what you pay, who you pay and when. Any estimate we show is labelled as an estimate.
We share your reports only with hospitals you approve in writing. Treatment is provided by the hospital under its own terms, and you decide whether to go ahead.
Payments
Prices are shown in Bahraini dinars (BHD). You pay Saleem through the secure payment link on your case or booking, which shows the payment methods available. You receive a receipt for every payment to Saleem.
Payments for treatment, travel and stay follow your itemised quote, which says who you pay and when. Saleem does not add charges that are not in your quote or on this site.
Our responsibilities and limits
Saleem coordinates care and runs this platform. Treatment, its outcome and the hospital's services are the responsibility of the hospital and its doctors, under their own terms. Clinical decisions are made by licensed physicians.
We work with care, but we are not responsible for events outside our control, such as a hospital changing its price, dates or availability, travel disruption, visa decisions, or information you give us that is incomplete or wrong. Where the law allows us to limit our liability, it is limited to the amount you paid Saleem for the service concerned. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
If something goes wrong, tell us first: write to support@tellsaleem.com or message us on WhatsApp, and we will try to resolve it with you. If we cannot, the courts of Bahrain have jurisdiction, without taking away any right you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
Changes and contact
We will post changes to these terms on this page. Questions: support@tellsaleem.com or WhatsApp +973 3222 1188.
